Tianyin Yu

Research Associate

Tianyin Yu is currently a full-time research associate at the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science.

She holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Science and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice at the University of New Haven. Her primary research interest is pretrial justice. Additionally, she also explores other related areas, including juvenile justice, early intervention, and relationship between employment and recidivism.

As an adjunct professor at the University of New Haven, she has instructed various courses within the criminal justice department, including Quantitative Applications in Criminal Justice, Scientific Methods in Criminal Justice, and Criminology.
