The Henry Lee Institute of Forensic Science at the University of New Haven is offering a week-long course focused on the sexual assault of the adult. This course is designed to provide attendees with information related to the police investigation of reported sexual assaults, medical evaluation of adult victims, evidence collection and analysis, and the role of the sexual assault forensic examiner (SAFE).
The course is suitable for any professional or student interested in additional information regarding the complex occurrence of sexual assault, issues related to investigation by law enforcement, sexual assault evidence collection, follow up with clients and legal considerations. Information will be presented in the form of presentations, case studies, interactive discussions, video, and roundtable discussions.
